How ClaimTop works
There are two public races: people and companies. Country and category only filter the same list. Friends can add money to a pot, and the contender pays whatever is still missing.
1. The next price is public
The current launch price appears before checkout. It is calculated by the server and increases after every confirmed claim.
2. One checkout at a time
Starting checkout reserves the opportunity for ten minutes. During that period, no second contender can open a competing payment for the same position. An abandoned session is actively expired before the opportunity reopens.
3. Payment confirmation decides the winner
Returning from checkout does not change the ranking. The move happens only after Stripe sends a signed confirmation with the expected session, currency and amount.
Anyone can pay to send an existing public profile back to first place. The pot already collected for that profile is used first. A new email only creates a profile after the payment is confirmed.
4. The leader gets a protected window
After confirmation, the new number one receives at least ten minutes at the top before the next checkout can begin.
5. Time creates a second record
The live ranking is ordered by the latest confirmed launch. The Hall of Time separately totals how long each contender has held first place across all wins.
6. The profile photo comes from Gravatar
ClaimTop does not host photo uploads. The image of a person or a company is the Gravatar linked to the email used at registration.
To show your photo, create or update that same email at gravatar.com. The ranking, the profile page and social previews all use that image.
